Architectural Designer
Receive project requests and prepare preliminary sketches of options.
Research and incorporate artistic elements into designs as needed.
Uses computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create full-scale and detailed designs of buildings and interiors from an architect’s rough drawings.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure accuracy of early design work.
Draws plans for foundations, buildings, and structures based on instructions provided by architects and lead drafters.
Reworking and modifying designs based on comments and reviews from management and clients.
Finalize drafting projects using both 2D and 3D sketching.
Ensure that all design layouts and blueprints are compliant with industry codes and legal standards.
Communicate with various professionals and departments to coordinate project details.
Ensuring all vital information and documentation is recorded and maintained, including phase planning.
